Crosby Township is one of 12 townships in Hamilton County. It is located in the northwestern part of the county. Crosby Township covers 20 square miles with terrain that includes a series of hills extending from the Great Miami River. Approximately 9% of it's land is developed for suburban use while the rest is a mixture of agricultural and wooded areas. Miami Whitewater Forest, located in a majority of the township, is the largest park in Hamilton County offering hiking trails, a golf course, campground, horseback riding and fishing ponds. Crosby Township offers its residents 3 local parks providing playgrounds, picnic areas/shelters, basketball courts and ball fields. The annual Reindeer Romp, held in Crosby Township for the past 8 years, supports families in need during the holiday season. Southwest Local School District and Ross Local School District serves most of the township.
