Goshen Township has a population of approximately 15,500 on an area of 34.2 square miles. Located in the northern part of Clermont County, Goshen Township borders Harlan, Wayne, Stonelick, Miami and Hamilton Townships. There are no municipalities in Goshen Township however the unincorporated community of Goshen is in the center of the township. Home to the Goshen Township Historical Society, the community is rich in history including The Anchorage Historical Museum, the Stroup-Cook log cabin and the Marr Education Center at Cook Farm. Recreational areas in Goshen Township include O'Bannon Creek Golf Course, Eagles Nest Golf Course, Cedar Lakes and Fairacres Lake. Goshen Local School District services a majority of the community.
