Green Township was formed in 1809 and was primarily a farming community. Green Township is the second largest township in Ohio and is part of Hamilton County. Today it is a very diverse community in age and size with a vast array of educational opportunities including public and private schools. Recreational areas in the township include Bicentennial Park, Blue Rock Park, Bosken Park, Kuliga Park, Veterans Park and West Fork Park. Green Township hosts yearly events for all ages such as 4th of July Concert, Kids Fun Day and Family Winterfest. Oak Hills Local School District serves most of the township with Northwest Local School District serving the Monfort Heights and White Oak areas.
