Addyston is a friendly community of about 1,000 residents, located on the Ohio River, ten miles west of downtown Cincinnati. Founded in 1891 by Matthew Addy, this small community is making big strides toward making healthy living easier for its residents. There is a Five-loop urban trail system covering 12 miles of sidewalks, all wheelchair- and stroller-accessible. Each loop is clearly marked with color-coded signs and mileage markers. There is outdoor exercise equipment available at the municipal building. A seasonal Farmer's market supplies fresh fruits and vegetables for residents. Addyston is located in the Three Rivers School District.
